Icon[edit]
Why are we using the toughness icon for agony resistance? That strikes me as potentially very confusing, especially in pages where attributes are represented only by their icon (like here and here, for example). Template:Magic Find uses an arbitrary icon that is never (AFAIK) associated with it in-game, but at least it's clearly different from the other attribute icons. And if we absolutely can't come up with a new, different icon for some reason, I'd rather have no icon at all associated with agony resistance; at least then it would be clear that it requires special treatment in page formatting. --Felbryn 17:56, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- We could just recolour it. (i.e. no artistic skills required) blue gold. -Chieftain Alex 18:30, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'd prefer for the icon to differ in shape as well—those changes are kind of subtle, and I imagine they're almost invisible to color-blind users—but those would be better than an exact duplicate, to be sure. --Felbryn 18:48, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
If it doesn't have an in-game icon, then we shouldn't make one up. Just like I've been arguing for magic find (unsuccessfully, unfortunately).I forgot, this does have an icon in the new attributes display now. Which means we should use the in-game icon, isntead of making up a new one. Even if it's the same as another attribute, that's not our fault. —Dr Ishmael 18:51, 30 January 2013 (UTC)- I just added the ingame icon... There isn't really much to argue about that. - Yandere 20:21, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, I hadn't seen the new hero panel yet. Sigh. Well, I guess I will live in hope that they will replace it with a new icon eventually. Should we maybe create a separate file page for agony resistance anyway, to give it a more intuitive file name and make things easier if they do replace it? --Felbryn 04:33, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
