Move suggestion[edit]
I agree with the suggestion to move. ANet has finally been slightly more consistent with the naming pattern of the Spirits of the Wild. Probably all of them should be moved to X Spirit. Warming Hearth (talk) 09:40, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- Based on how many times the various Spirits of the Wild have been referred to as Wolf Spirit, Raven Spirit, the corrupted spirits etc, and how we already have Minotaur titled as Minotaur Spirit in the norn personal story, I'd also be in favor of a move. Granted, it's a bit tricky how certain, already existing "X Spirit" pages (from open world and personal story) should be handled as it's unknown if those are meant to be actual manifestations of any given spirit or just lesser avatars of said spirit, but I'm sure we can think of some ways of addressing the issue in a satisfactory manner to keep things consistent. :) --Kossage (talk) 21:16, 2 March 2021 (UTC)
- I've removed the move suggestion since in Wildfire the four Great Spirits are simply named "Animal", with "Spirit of the Wild" as their combat abilities. It's not a perfect solution since he's still named "Wolf Spirit" in Bjora Marches, but the argument that the NPC version has always been named "Wolf Spirit" is no longer true. I do wish Anet was more consistent with their naming pattern since neither name is 'more correct' than the others. Warming Hearth (talk) 10:20, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
