Most likely there won't be a single (if any) alliance vs alliance kind of set up in GW2. I doubt that the WM would be a joinable group anyways. It's like the human equivalent (or one of) the Inquest, the Flame Legion, Sons of Svanir, and Nightmare Court. -- Konig/talk 21:28, 11 May 2010 (UTC)

Who be Eive and no, that is not the case. As shown in the War in Kryta: White Mantle are enemies. The closest we can go to "joining" the White Mantle is the official facebook page made by Anet's PR. -- Konig/talk 04:44, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

It seemed like they pushed the SB on us because that's what GW2 lore says happens. But they have mentioned future "Decisive battles" in the War in Kryta content. Although I suppose I am thinking a little too single-raced, but I'm sure if the WM play any large, important part they could threaten all of the races, not just humans. Remember we haven't been told where the Scepter of Orr wound up. Considering it doesn't seem like Livia possesses it anymore after getting it from Orr. Eive Windgrace 08:30, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

The White Mantle retreated to the Maguuma Jungle, where they have thrived in secret, even without the guidance of their false gods, hoping to one day return..

gw1:Shadows in the Jungle and gw1:Brisban Wildlands (there are Seraph sent there to investigate the White Mantle) and gw1:Voices From the Past (confirmation that the White Mantle are behind at least most bandit attacks; bandits are seen in Brisban Wildlands which everyone finds "odd").
