And yet they treat the mentally ill with blunt trauma weapons. After this event is completed, Deep Song is imprisoned.

I have heard stories about GW2 real world parallel racism and dismissed them, but this is kind of different. It promotes to further stigmatize the mentally ill.

Keeping up with 1890's/steampunk moral values, all this may not be such a surprise.

Perhaps changing the word "sanity" would cushion the entirely offensive nature of this event.

It's dishonest to disguise words that are offensive. It's the meaning, not the letters of the word. But really, this is a mythical world with a different mentality. The kodan may be postulated to have a completely different set moral/ethical "rules". By the way, it's not racism, it's xenophobia. --Claret (talk) 12:40, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

For the sake of someone else reading this - Deep Song is not mentally ill (she's the Voice of Koda, supposedly they wouldn't pick her for that position if she wasn't ok).
