Damage Reduction

Does anyone know why sometimes these guys take very very little damage when they are getting wailed on? Sometimes my group fights them and we do regular damage, but other times I do little damage as though he has +10000 armor or something. Is there a monster skill at play here? Targeting

What is the Veteran Supervisor's targeting priority when under RI? It clearly is not the closest target. The vet targets me all the time and it gets annoying. The vet walks by everyone, whether it is a few of us or a zerg, but always follows me...vet ignores everyone else; however, the vet will target a pet before it gets back on me. If no pet, the vet makes a beeline for me. Vet chases me then I run back into the crowd hoping the vet will target someone else...nope. Dude, the vet will seek me out and I'm not even near the vet, lol. I just don't get it. It is the damndest thing. I don't mean this happens once a week, this happens every time and I can't figure out why. The vet is already chasing someone, there are people around waiting for RI to run down, I run to the camp then booyah...the vet stops attacking his target then targets me. It doesn't make sense. Sounds like a different NPC, just checked the Alpine Borderlands and found an NPC simply called "Veteran Supervisor" in the camp. - Do_odleplex 23:18, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
