Keep or delete? Will Vabbi stay a major part in GW2, or is an interwiki link sufficient? -- Brains12 • Talk • 00:16, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'd keep it and redirect to Elona for now. Elona might appear in a future expansion, and then we'd have to change all the interwiki links into normal ones, which would be a nightmare :P --Santax (talk · contribs) 18:43, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

I got a question[edit]
it says Palawa Joko dammed the river of Elon, ... whoever saw the trailer must have seen that giant dam, ... ANet said that Elona has been cut off ... does anyone have any thoughts on this ... as i can't place the dam anywhere else in the world of Tyria... Sneaker 22:53, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- It could be in the middle of the Crystal Desert (just north of the Desolation) and part of a series of dams Joko uses. If not there, I'd guess it would be north of Kryta, though the barren wasteland look implies Crystal Desert. -- Konig/talk 00:07, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Could be ... but i haven't noticed any rivers in that area ... it's possible Zhaitans rise could have made new rivers but ... i just find it unlikely that they would be dammed by Joko afterwards, ... since they basically just go into the desolation ... what's that gonna do anyway. - The river to the dam would be on the other side, so we wouldn't see it. The river being the Elon. As for what the water does, it turns the desert from being sandy to being more forest-like. Which could make the area less poisonous (note: could, a theory was made that there was water when the Crystal Desert was a sea and the water was sulfurous thus not poisonous, but with the removal of water, the sulfur became poisonous). -- Konig/talk 21:39, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well there was mention about the Crystal Sea in Prophecies .... so it could be that the Crystal desert was flooded once more ... but i'm still hoping for atleast some glimpse of Elona Sneaker 22:57, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- A GW2 expansion, perhaps? Cress Arvein 23:15, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- I wouldn't think so ... the scene was in the trailer ... so unless they're already making expansions (which they said they wouldn't) i doubt it ... Sneaker 15:15, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, Sneaker, I think they said they would only make expansions for GW2 (no campaigns). But either way the no expansions line was for GW1, not GW2. But they said that the initial release would only be in Tyria. Unless they meant Tyria the planet and not Tyria the continent (which I doubt), sadly, no Elona. :( Personally, I think they should have Tyria/Elona for the initial release so Anet could then go to Cantha then new lands, and they would also have to show the land north of Elona/east of Tyria. -- Konig/talk 23:32, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
