I find that a ranger can place a seed turret in the far left hand corner behind the boss (by using the small tunnel that hugs the left side of the chamber to get close enough to safely 'plant' it), and then return to the center of the chamber to commune whilst the boss deals with the turret. | phineas | 22:02, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

As a warrior it is possible to draw the spider to a distant corner, use a speed enhancing skill such as 'Signet of Rage', immobilize the spider with 'Throw Bolas' and run to the center of the chamber to commune as long as the spider is immobilized. Veterans[edit]

I had a different mix of veteran enemies. There was only one veteran skelk blocking the entrance, but once I got to the commune spot there were 3 small "waves" of cave spiders/hatchlings. The first group was already there, three ordinary spiders. Cleared those, then a veteran spider dropped down from above. After killing that one, then the final boss spider dropped down. Either there's a bug (heh) or it's rule-based and the first two are randomized: "two veterans before the boss." Teknomancer (talk) 06:48, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
