The recipe is wrong

No, it is correct. It's not a discovery recipe, so just check the recipe list when you reach the appropriate crafting level. •••Mora 17:30, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

Source = Automatic means it unlocks directly into your recipe list at the appropriate discipline rating. Once a recipe is unlocked, the Discovery panel won't recognize it anymore. —Dr Ishmael 17:53, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

"Source=automatic" isn't intuitive, unless you already understand the mechanic. It would be more helpful to have the infobox figure out the discipline rank, e.g. Apprentice or just list the score, e.g. "source=rank 200." 75.37.16.99 17:57, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

The required rating and available disciplines is stored in the recipe, as per the recipe API. The infobox will be updated to pull and display these facts automatically. Automatic is the word used in the [[API/recipe_details|API]].--Relyk ~ talk < 19:57, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

It's nice that we pull fields from the API so that data on the wiki stays current, but the terms are still confusing people. The API is designed to be convenient for programmers. The wiki is designed to be convenient for players. Can't we do better? 75.37.16.99 21:50, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

@Relyk: The API says "AutoLearned" not "Automatic". The first is more user friendly (I personally have no issue with "Automatic", but I can see why confusion arises). 87.115.179.176 21:58, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
