Dropped from Small Present

I had just created a Norn and was completing events Wayfarer Hills. At level 3, opened a Small Present. An Unbreakable Choir Bell came out. It seems that the drop chance scales with level?

The type of gift you get scales with the level (and so do the level of recipe and crafting resources you can get from that gift size). The chances and amount to get some TYPE of items are the same for all gift sizes. So all sizes have the same chance for Toymakers tonic and the Unbreakable Choir Bell. Black Lion Chest drop?

Was this really a BLC drop? I never saw any info about Wintersday items being added to BLC like they did with Halloween. — 08Ray 04:43, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Hmm okay, didn't hear anyone about that during the event so that's why I asked. Was this the only possible drop from BLC or could you also loot other Wintersday items? I'm inclined to think its someone fucking with the drop rates again, theres definitely nothing else listed at Black Lion Chest (Unlocked) nor the drop rate page, nor people raging on the talk page due to lack of columns for wintersday items. Deleted it now. Can't find anywhere people claiming receiving Wintersday items from BLC's so unless someone can confirm it actually was a possible drop it's gone. — 08Ray 21:03, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Not in Fractals

This item works fine for any of my characters anywhere in PvE or WvW or PvP . . . but not in any Fractal, or even in the Mistlock Observatory itself. This bites particularly hard since it is *required* for the legendary focus (Ode to Mai Trin). Anet suggests that I "try again". Surely this used to work, right?
