I am struggling to get the tapestry from fishing in Seitun Province - I have tried about 8 times now and I only get a junk item
- Tried with 505 Fishing Power, still nothing

Been struggling with the Wreckage Spot for days too. It only yields Tangle Weed for me. There must be some prerequisites!
So far I've tried:
- After Leviathan event
- After the Naga Priestess event
- After the fishing contest
- After Seitung Province meta (Though only realized there was extra dialogue available too late. Might have to repeat this again.)
- After investing in "Fishing Hole Master" mastery
Nothing has worked so far and I'm starting to run out of ideas. Perhaps it requires full fishing mastery? Specific lure or bait?
It feels quite tedious, as the spot disappears after every try and requires a new map to try again.

I have Fishing Mastery 5, Tips on Fishing (+50), Mackerel (+150), Amber Fishing Lore (+100), and basic fishing pole (+25) for a total of 425 fishing power. Still Tangle Weed.
I am still missing the bonus from Skiff 4.
I have also done the meta in this zone, as well as zone completion.
There must be someone to listen to that I just dont have. No clue who though.

I went in with an alt account that just has fishing 2 (power 115) unlocked the collection and went straight for the wreckage site. And I got the item in one shot. To me this looks like a bug where either high fishing power or having one of the other items of the collection unlocked prevents the site from working the way it should. I've fished the Wreckage Site four times now (I only got one pull before it vanished, so had to reenter instance over and over for it to respawn). I've only pulled tangled weeds :(

Confirmed that you need only do https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Protect_the_shrine_from_the_Void_assault to acquire this piece of the tapestry. 120.29.39.161 07:59, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
