- Ooh, and we could get a sick machinima with Meatloaf the minst-- DAMNit, there's no minstrel. Listen to the players, Anet! We don't want legitimate professions, give us the minstrel!

- On a related note, am I the only one who thinks that Mesmers should get a utility that makes an illusionary minstrel? just for kicks of course. Thunderduck 00:44, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- As another unrelated note, the Time Warp should have been one of the dances. I actually suggested that countless times. Since the tengu will probably get the the chicken dance, I guess we won't get it unless they add largos as a playable race, or as an extra dance in the gem store. Worse than a weapon skill?[edit]
How is this better than the focus skill that cripples enemies AND grants swiftness? -121.131.103.242 12:53, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- This grants quickness, not swiftness Alfa-R 13:39, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- I really wish this skill did more. I was hoping it would act more like the time bubble in Diablo 3 where enemies and projectiles going through it would be slowed down. Although that might take a bit of complicated programming to pull off. Plus Balance issues. :( --Yozuk 19:50, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
- Bear in mind that this skill grants Quickness to your allies as well. This is a huge dps boost for the entire party. I wonder how will this would work in a party of 5 mesmers :P Oboros 14:30, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- 10 seconds of quickness, for you and your allies. That's everyone, doing everything, twice as fast, for 10 seconds. Use it on your ranged line. 5 seconds of confusion per shot from a ranger's shortbow, and he's got quickness... That's 9 stacks of confusion, plus the 12 bleeding the ranger's auto attack causes with quickness. 133 damage per stack, per enemy skill use. With this, and a friendly neighborhood ranger, I can easily do over 1200 damage per second, +12 stacks of bleeding, ranger's attacks, and the 9 other people this skill affects... Yeah, quickness is the most powerful boon for damage dealing.

Glamour[edit]
Is this technically a glamour? As in, is it affected by Glamour traits, such as Confusing Enchantments or Dazzling Glamours? -- DrakeWurrum 21:00, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- The game does not identify this skill with any type. Whether it interacts with those traits is something you should test in BWE3. —Dr Ishmael 21:03, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
No Underwater Elite Skills?[edit]
Now with this, Moa Morph and Mass Invisibility not available underwater, does that mean that Mesmers don't have Underwater Elite Skills? -- Olive 09:52, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- That's the information I got from the List of mesmer skills. Gnarf 09:53, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- That's what I observed in BWE3, yes. —Dr Ishmael 12:48, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- That's likely to get an update because super simple skills like Reaper of Grenth cannot be used underwater. I don't see the problem with using Mass Invisibility underwater, it's probably just not ready yet? Mediggo 13:45, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

A Serious Question[edit]
WTF are the developers thinking with this??? 1 second of boon so everyone in the area can activate 1 skill a little quicker for 3 1/2 minutes of cooldown? Where is the benefit? In a lot of other skills I can at least see where they could be effective even if I would not use them myself. This is just non-sensical. They really dropped the ball on this one. 99.72.195.220 19:00, 28 September 2012 (UTC)VV
- Time Warp grants 1 second of Quickness each pulse, and it persists for 10 seconds, pulsing once per second. That's 10 seconds of Quickness...in AoE. You're also pretty funny, saying Quickness only makes things activate "a little" faster. Thanks for theorycrafting though. Vili 点 19:13, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- Then why after activating 1 skill does the boon remove itself??? Even the description does not say "pulse". The field lasts for 10 seconds. This means the first skill activated in that 10 second duration receives the benefit of and ends the boon. Try reading the skill description and testing something before accusing someone else of "theorycrafting". 99.72.195.220 19:31, 28 September 2012 (UTC)VV
- I've seen this skill in use and yes anyone in the bubble gets essentially 10 seconds of quickness.192.168.104.82 21:06, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- 99.72, I guarantee that you are wrong. Quickness is not removed after a skill is activated. Time Warp is godly. 21:58, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- Maybe he moved out of the field with Savage Leap. :3 Mediggo 06:09, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Max Targets?[edit]
Does anyone know if the skill is documented or proven to have a maximum number of allies affected? I sometimes use this or see others use this in large groups and sometimes I don't even get the boon from my own Time Warp. Not certain if this is because of the number of people inside, or if it is simply a bug with the ability.
- Most aoe is limited to 5 targets total in gw2. Vili 点 07:15, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
- There is indeed a maximum, but it is much greater than 5. I activate this skill in zergs and see at least 10+ people effected by it. I do, however sometimes miss out on my own Time Warp. Similarly, I miss out on my Temporal Curtain more often. I believe elite aoe skills have an improved maximum over other aoe.
- The targets could be selected randomly every pulse, that would cause the effect to average out over a given number of people.--Relyk 19:51, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
