I've not played a thief, but do they have the same appearance as the character that summoned them, or are they different? --Xu Davella 05:46, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

In my experience they seem to be randomly created characters in mid armor, with their faces covered by "bandit" masks. As far as race I've only ever seen human, but that could just be because my thief is always human. Name

So as of stress test 5, neither of the skills use the terminology "fellow thief" anymore. I didn't think to actually use either skill to see what the NPCs were named. —Dr Ishmael 18:27, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Fellow thieves are merely called 'Thief' now, no special name. I hope ANet changes this later, so it's easier to differentiate them in the wiki.--JunBerry 06:21, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Stats

Can anyone provide the stats for fellow-thief damage?

Does the Ambush-Thief deal less damage then the Guild-Duo? Will they share our crit/power stats?

These sort of things are a need-to-know for deciding whether or not to make use of either of the two Thief-Summon skills. (Although, currently, Thieves Guild is vastly superior to Basilisk Venom in my opinion.) --JunBerry 06:21, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

• I added the damage dealt by the thieves, strangely, the Scorpion Wire did about 4-6 times more damage than the player. Very strange, but true. Try it yourself :).

Trait changed

it would seem merciful ambush have been changed to no longer create an ambush trap and therefore no longer have anything to do with summoned thieves.. suggest removal.. 93.160.17.51 12:02, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

quotes

I've been playing a human thief using thieves guild so i can confirm that those quotes are correct for the human race.

but i wish to see the other races quotes as i never see any other race (or most thieves as a whole use thieves guild) as i heard different quote from another race (asuran) that said,or from what i can remember "Two heads boil the pot" or something like that line.
