Talk:The Origins of Madness
Is it just me, or should scarlet really just be ignored? Even if you have finished the storyline the ELDER DRAGONS; Primordius, Kralkatorix, Jormag and the random-ass deep-sea dragon that gave us Quaggan refugees, are still rampaging around, with their minions dominating huge swaths of land and devouring the magic of Tyria. Isn't that SLIGHTLY more important than a crazy sylvari who happens to run away everytime you smash her shit? Just my two cents on Scarlet Wars... 99.249.208.28 07:05, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah the majority of players have gotten impatient with Scarlet by now but there are just a couple of months left for her, and hopefully this will lead to the next campaign against a dragon. Let's see where Anet is taking us. Lysander (talk) 13:46, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- In a storytelling context, the remaining Elder Dragons are hundreds of miles away and though not shown in-game, ArenaNet has said that the Pact are still recovering from heavy losses. Scarlet on the other hand, while terribly delivered, is an immediate threat and even though she runs each time her plans are ruined, her threats need to be stopped. If you go around the Havens in Kessex you'll even find new dialogue amongst many NPCs that talk about how her actions are on par to dragon activity. Which isn't entirely false given the stare of Kessex Hills. Konig 16:14, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- BUT the in-game lore kind of definitively established that they are literally eating magic, what every other Tyrian seems to be choc full of, the stuff that operates the world and is half fused with every piece of technology. I do realize this won't get anywhere but i kinda needed somewhere to vent on the whole Scarlet BS, either a dragon better make itself very vicious and vulnerable to kill her or her death cutscene has to be 5 minutes of me playing pop-up-pirate with my sword and her torso... 99.249.208.28 04:13, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Marionette test dialogue[edit]
Does anyone know whether the Twisted Marionette weapon test event completion dialogue has been transcribed for the Wiki yet? I was transcribing the edge of the mists stuff between Braham/Taimi earlier and then later found it had already been done for another page and could've just been copy/pasted onto the individual character pages. I've looked around and not found this ending dialogue anywhere though, does anyone know if it's on the wiki somewhere? or should I transcribe it and put it on the Twisted Marionette Weapon Test page/the dialogue sections for the characters involved?
