Additional NPC dialogue.[edit]
There are 4 Djinn hidden in their elements in this zone, and you can talk to them for information about the City and Qadim. Water is forthcoming and talks a lot, earth, Fire and Air require the Abina, Sabir and Qadim to be defeated before they talk. I haven't visited a cleared instance yet, so I only have the Fire's "go beat Qadim" conversation, but I have everything else for the other 3. "Water in a tumblr post", and Air and Earth in an "Imgur album". I don't have a moment to sit down and learn how to format this type of page just now, but here is the info. --AdamantAegis (talk) 00:48, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for sharing; it's appreciated! :) I'll add the provided dialogue to the article with proper formatting (it isn't that hard to do in the end, and you can see how it's done if you look at the pages in edit window, or check a help page going into more detail about wiki formatting for dialogue). These are very insightful pieces of text, and it's curious that the djinn of the elements aren't represented by any name (like Pile of Earth etc.) in the dialogue box. If you or anyone else entering a cleared instance manages to get more dialogue from them, I'd be happy if the dialogue was at the very least linked/added to this talk page so any of us people visiting wiki can then add it to the actual content page. Once again, thanks for taking the time to provide the screenshots; the djinn lore in the hidden city sure is fascinating. :) --Kossage (talk) 18:12, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
- The places where you interact with these four djinn are no longer interactable in a cleared instance. They don't seem to have any dialogue once Qadim is defeated. The instance fills with djinn once it's cleared, but you can't talk to any of them as far as I can tell. Good find, though. I needed to turn up some of my graphics settings just to figure out where the fire and water djinn were supposed to be as their effects don't appear with low environment detail. --Serezenith (talk) 22:26, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
- Additionally can confirm that the dialog option (with the water puddle) is available immediately following the Key/Gate event, before fighting the Air or Earth djinn. valkyrievance (talk) 03:03, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
