Pic[edit]
So this pic was tweeted by an anet dev. At first I thought it was a joke, but now I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm? Haha, for a legendary I can't take it serious, but at the same time, it's pretty awesome.--Moto Saxon 21:53, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- Mkay, after a few seconds of study, it totally is photoshopped in. Still, it's worth the share here. --Moto Saxon 21:54, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, that's the real thing. The item code is [&AgHedwAA] - copy and paste it into chat, right click and preview it. I personally think it looks great! Sanzath 17:12, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
References[edit]
Couldn't this have a reference to Robot Unicorn Attack in it somewhere? I'm just seeing a connection somehow. 68.207.223.5 04:33, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- There's several memes and other media related to this weapon. Here are some examples:
- Robot Unicorn Attack obviously has unicorns that leave rainbow trails. The game states they are "making wishes" but the "Heavy Metal" version says they are "Making dreams" instead.
- The song Always by Erasure that plays in the background of the game, talking about love and dreams and other corny stuff, and whatnot.
- Along The Lover and its rainbows, it hints The Rainbow Connection by Kermit the Hylek.
- You could say this weapons is a byproduct of the corny, rainbowy side of the Internet that also generated memes like Puking Rainbows and Nyancat. MithTalk 15:34, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
- Given the new projectiles (fully animated unicorns), I'd say there's a bit of My-Little-Pony in there too. I believe they call it a cutie-mark, and those projectiles have ArenaNet's logo as one. Oooo... The shame this weapons' victims must feel. XD --JunBerry 04:45, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- The victims? What about the wielder? XD And I'm a certified unicorn nut, btw ;) SarielV 17:11, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- This weapon shoots the unholy offspring of Rarity and Rainbow Dash. There should be laws against these kind of shenanigans! -- 77.248.255.171 12:02, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- Shall we just give in and call it a bowny? — snograt 21:12, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
- Never. But the ArenaNet logo cutie mark is an unmistakable reference.Azure Fang (talk) 01:10, 31 July 2014 (UTC)

Sound effects[edit]
I might be mistaken here, but didn't the neigh-ing use to play during all projectile skills while having the bow equipped ? Because as of recently the only ones covered are Thief skills and Citadel Bombardment. Neither the Renegade nor Ranger shortbow skills produce the sound. 81.173.178.250 18:26, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
