I believe that either an account bound only variant was removed from being dropped or the item is supposed to not be dropped from anything anymore and should only be obtained by crafting it. - Do_odleplex 20:18, 8 November 2017 (UTC)

I don't think this was the item that was removed. Look at Black Diamond (exotic).

If they still drop, they're not historical. If there's no way to get them anymore, they're historical (The only way to obtain this content is through the Trading Post or through content that is no longer available; being account-bound means trading post is not a valid choice).

Should be clarified to state they (the account-bound version this article refers to) no longer drop (thus are historical item), and any useless (account-bound) copy obtained before the patch can be traded for a useful (tradable) one (as per patch notes).

I don't have the recipe unlocked to see if the account-bound version can be used or must be traded beforehand. And don't have both versions (account-bound and tradable) to see if they're different items (plus I don't know how to check internal Game ID for items). --NIN37 12:30, 10 November 2017 (UTC)

If you have the non-account bound version, and /wiki ing the item will either lead you to the page with the ID or bring up a message asking you to place the ID with the respective page name. I believe the note I added does clarify both that they no longer drop and that they may be exchanged elsewhere. If you feel this should be marked historical right now, feel free to do so.
