Ambient Dialogue[edit]
I have a small ton of ambient dialogue for this area, and I'm still missing a decent portion as apparently the futher into the chain you get, the more ambient dialogue there is. I was wondering if perhaps it would be alright to put the the dialogue between Elly, Timblin and Neary on the Shaded Spring PoI since they are literally standing right on top of it, and the keep the rest of the ambient dialogue as just what the soldiers scattered about the area say, just so this page doesn't become the longest one to scroll through heh. - Doodleplex 23:59, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
- If the dialogue you move to the PoI page is super-related to the one listed on this page, I'd suggest throwing in a {{see also}} so folks know where to find the rest of the dialogue. —Ventriloquist 00:27, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hmm...actually now that I look at it, most of the dialogue between the three NPCs I mentioned relates to how Outpost: Pact Encampment is doing. Their ambient dialogue triggers during events that are related to the meta and referrs to the occurring events, even though their dialogue is not actually part of the events(other than helping them pick a leader). Perhaps I should move their dialogue to the meta page and direct the "See also" there? (At least it makes more sense to me. HoT sure had a way of switching it up so things don't fit pretty heh.) - Doodleplex 00:37, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
- If it's part of the ambient dialogue, then I say it should stay on this page. Noting which state the meta is in can be done as headers for each section. I'd avoid tossing it onto the meta event page since it isn't part of how the events themselves progress (I'm assuming the conversations repeat every couple of minutes or so in situ). - Well sort of, the dialogue between Elly, Timblin and Neary doesn't repeat, it's triggered when the meta starts doing or is doing a certain event in it, however the dialogue isn't actually part of the events. For example:
- Doctor Elly: Chief, I'm fascinated by these sensors. How do they work?
- Chief Engineer Timblin: The sensors detect the movements of living things. Above ground or below.
- Chief Engineer Timblin: Once we get the data from the field, we can filter out everything but Mordrem.
- Doctor Elly: Excellent. I feel safer already.
- This dialogue occurs when Help calibrate the Mordrem early warning system is active only, and at no other time will it happen, so it's dialogue triggered by an event, but that doesn't occur anywhere near the event, so if you were doing the event you'd never know about it. There is other ambient dialogue between the various Vigil members that also starts when the meta gets to certain points or events, but that does repeat, and that I definitely would leave here, it's mostly just the dialogue between the three officers I'm pondering about putting somewhere else because a). Might be meta dialogue or b.) might be okay to put on PoI as the three are standing right on top of it and that would make this area page less of a scrolling nightmare because of how much dialogue there is. - Doodleplex 04:12, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

The POI east of the WP is not mentioned. I was unable to find it, so I can't give you its name. And it's Snorri.4351.

A section on how to reach the waypoint for the first time would be helpful. I keep walking all around it, but below it, and can't find a way up. Can't glide upwards, and I don't have updraft yet. If you need special training to reach the waypoint, it would be nice if the wiki said so. --VindeeHitowah (talk) 22:55, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- Added a little description to it. From recollection, if you do the meta event in the area, the scrap gathering one walks straight past it. -Chieftain Alex 20:52, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
