Talk:Spirit Shard
Has anybody ever seen a calculation placing a gold value on a spirit shard (or skill point)? Daddicus (talk)
- Not yet, might still be a bit early for that. I'm sure it will come up once people get enough data. —Ventriloquist 21:50, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks!
Feedback 2015/08/03[edit]
Insert feedback text here --98.166.185.47 18:44, 3 August 2015 (UTC)There seems to be a glitch in the hero points. After spending enough to update evry trait and build, I have more than 100 points left on several characters and get the ! on my Hero indicator every time I use a portal or waypoint. It's very irritating
Last update is false?[edit]
The most recent update to this page says you can get a spirit shard for earning 254,000 XP. If that's true, it's a major change. XP has no value unless you are leveling up. Or, am I wrong?Daddicus (talk) 23:37, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
- Prior to the release of the expansion, obtaining (254,000) XP at level 80 would grant a "level up" in the form of a spirit shard. Once HoT released (alongside masteries), XP became valuable again as a way of leveling those masteries. After reaching the mastery cap (which was 161 at HoT released), XP became useless again since ANet removed Spirit Shards as rewards for reaching 254k XP. The latest patch reintroduced them so any character (that has capped masteries in either Tyria or Heart of Maguuma) above level 80 that obtains enough XP will get a Spirit Shard in return. So no, XP is (finally) not useless anymore! —Ventriloquist 23:41, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
Dropped By[edit]
Just adding it here so we would know if someone would add it as a drop which currencies never are (maybe will be in the future) --DiegoDeLaHouska (talk) 20:36, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
