Talk:Rune of Rata Sum

I'm confused on this rune, actually all Runes to be honest. It says (1) +10 Precision and (2) +5% Poison Duration. Both are greyed out. And just above where it says those stats it says: Minor Rune of the Rata Sum (0/2). I am confused am I getting any benefits? If so what benefits? Only confused because both benefits are greyed out. If I want to get both working, exactly how do i do that? Varuuth 22:30, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- As long as you have the runes on your equipped armor, they should be granting you the benefits. You can double check by making sure that your Precision stat is increased by 10 (it should be listed in green). -- Armond Warblade 22:38, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply. I wonder why it is listed in grey, but on my minor rune of mercy on my pants, the +10 to toughness is in blue, but the stat for receive less damage while reviving allies is listed in grey. Not complaining, just curious if anyone knows. Varuuth 22:56, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- I've seen that myself on occasion. I expect it's just a bug, though if you notice any patterns, please let me know (preferably on my talk page). -- Armond Warblade 23:13, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- If you are looking at a rune in your inventory, all of the bonuses will be grey. When you equip them onto your armor, they will turn blue depending on how many of that rune you have equipped, to show you which bonuses are currently active. If you only have 1 rune equipped, then only the first bonus will be blue. —Dr Ishmael 23:54, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- and just to clarify only the blue ones are active, the grey ones are inactive, correct? Oh and the armor piece that has both stats greyed out (the rune is in the armor) but the rune is in storage, so that explains that part :-) Varuuth 00:21, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- Right, whether the rune is by itself or attached to a piece of armor, the bonuses are only active (and blue) if you are wearing the armor. —Dr Ishmael 01:48, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the help Varuuth 03:18, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
