I didn't have a pass[edit]

I just made this page based on the description of the pass in gem store, and what it says on the official announcement of the event. Unless passes start dropping outside of the gem store, I don't see my self fleshing this out beyond perhaps a picture. Jermoe Morrow (talk) 12:22, 7 August 2013 (UTC) -- Apparently passes do drop (very rarely) from event-related mobs. I've not had the good fortune myself but I'm keeping an eye out.

The Point?[edit]

Other than the convenience of being able to have all of these npc's and gates in the same place, is there any other benefit? It makes me think a bit of the special areas in certain cities in Cantha. Those special areas only were accessible by members of the Alliance that controlled the city. But there was a real benefit to gaining access to this area because the merchants sold things for less and there was access to other special npc's. Controlled towns and outposts I just can't picture many folks buying access to this area if it's merely a convenient hub of npc's and Asuran gates. Usaf1a8xx (talk) 20:45, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

Nope, no Fireworks Master here. :( The biggest advantages I can see are that you can travel there for free at any time (though you pay your own way back) and can travel to any other capital city while bypassing the slow-loading Lion's Arch Asura Gate hub. ninestories (talk) 05:35, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
Lion's Arch Emissary sells unique items unavailable elsewhere. ~ 1Maven (talk) 06:48, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

Reentrant bugs[edit]

Is it documented somewhere that if a character logs out in the Royal Terrace (with a valid pass, eg permanent Royal Terrace Pass), when they log back in they are kicked out and given the dialogue that they must have a pass in order to enter. I don't know if it's the same with the Airship, but I might presume it to be. Additionally, and more commonly right now during wintersday with high population in the Crown Pavillion, attempting to walk in through the entrance will kick the player out and present the same "You must have a valid pass" dialogue, even if they are carrying the pass. These both feel like bugs that should be noted on the wiki and/or reported. -Ahlec (talk) 23:02, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

I suspect that both Royal Terrace and the Airship are treated the same as any other instance. You are automatically thrown out when you log out or disconnect. 1Maven (talk) 14:45, 21 April 2015 (UTC)

Balthazar statue[edit]

Someone added that a Statue of Balthazar would be hidden below ground. Can anyone confirm that?--Fogeltje (talk) 18:12, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

I added that entry and here are the screenshots I've taken as a proof (although it is a bit too late, I totally forgot about it): http://imgur.com/a/pRL42. Its nameplate was visible only during April 1st of 2015 when a bug caused all nameplates to ignore Z-depth and therefore be drawn completely opaque disregarding the fact of being obscured by geometry. The bug was since fixed and it's no longer visible even while under the effects of Aviator's Memory Box. "Upon further observation": it's still there, it's interactible, but it doesn't appear to have a model anymore: http://imgur.com/a/Luk3v. 92.113.143.213 18:50, 23 May 2015 (UTC)

City travel?[edit]

Royal Terrace should have a way to travel between all cities - possibly via the Asura Gate there? This article doesn't note that and I can't check if it's through the Asura Gate, or by talking to an NPC as in other Pass-only areas. If someone does know which NPC it is, or if you choose the destination by interacting with the Asura Gate could they update the article? MeganTheGuilder (talk) 11:26, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

You can definitely choose to go to any major cities via the Asura gate for the Royal Terrace. It isn't an NPC. I'll see if I can steal formatting for other such area to this one. -Darqam 16:14, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Instanced within Divinity's Reach?[edit]

The players who teleport into the Royal Terrace from other maps will still be on the same map as other players? Or is the Terrace itself an instanced area within the regular Divinity's Reach map?The preceding unsigned comment was added by 92.216.166.134 (talk) at 23:08, 1 October 2017 (UTC).

It is not instanced, that I know of, none of the 'luxury zones' are instanced. -Darqam 00:05, 2 October 2017 (UTC)

Feedback 2017/11/29[edit]

"Statue of Balthazar (hidden below ground)" why is this here? It doesn't seem relevant since there is no indication how it is seen Keenedge (talk) 03:15, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
