Are the rewarded PvP exotics completely random or are they linked to your PvP rank? --Qeltaru (talk) 10:04, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

I am still a rabbit but got: 1 Deer, 1 Free Tournament, 3 Paid Tournament, and one I don’t know (PvP Warhorn). So I’d say they are very random :) poke | talk 11:41, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

Anyone know why these have been rendered useless? I tend to save up chests until I need the items they produce but just realized I can't open them. It would be nice if ANet made these sorts of things more explicit and ahead of time (ex. in-game mail to users who have an item that will be deprecated).108.180.166.245 17:35, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

These were nerfed back on 4/15/14, so you're seriously out of the loop if you're only figuring this out last week. They were axed because the PvP Locker was axed (it still exists, but you can't access it), not that I find that sufficient reason to remove the cheapest way to get expensive skins. Supposedly, if you take the chest into the PvP stationing area, it will open itself and update your wardrobe automatically, but I don't know if we can actually verify that.
