Talk:Proximity Test: Megadestroyer
For those that still can't get this item[edit]
Some players are still reporting not getting this, and I am trying to brainstorm some potential solutions:
- Make sure you get kill credit on the Megadestroyer. This means you'd need to be among the first 50 or players (or parties) to do a certain amount of damage to it. (Similar problem occurs with Karka Queen)
- Instead of at the chest, get as close as possible to the corpse of the Megadestroyer (or its last known position) and use the Synergetic Reactor there. (Similar problem occurs for Goemm's Lab Proximity Test. This seems the most likely solution. After all, it's a PROXIMITY TEST)
- Turn off Autoloot. (Common player assumption, but I don't think it's the actual problem. This item is not picked up from a drop or chest)
- Make sure your inventory isn't completely full (even if it is immediately consumed, it may require entry into the inventory before that can happen. I don't think this is the problem either).
- Teleporting to the nearby waypoint then spam-clicking it towards the chest worked for me.
Since I obtained this, I can't test any of these methods. If you have a problem and find the fix for certain, please leave a note. SarielV

Can confirm the proximity to corpse as being a fix for me. Especially for Destroyer and The Lab puzzle.76.14.41.19 03:58, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
For me I had to be in range of where the boss died in the lava >.> Chest was not the case for me.. I had silver rank on the kill and joined late so yeah.. 77.165.159.250 09:47, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
i walked around spamming click and i got it near the lava, it wasnt really near the boss either. 31/01/2022
Spam-clicking from the waypoint towards the chest worked for me.
Spam-clicking while walking inside the lava where the Megadestroyer died finally worked for me, but it took some time (and HP). 02.03.2024
