skins[edit]
This question is not only about the Phalanx Heavy Armor skin, but about all clothes/skins. Why doesn't Arena.net allow us to have a special inventory for skins? And once you bought them you can change them at will? Yes I know the gems are part of how they make their money, they could just charge more for gems to offset the loss in profits from you no longer having to re-buy the skins. I don't see many people even bothering with the skins because you use it and then when you upgrade your armor the skin is gone. (unless you transmute it but that can get costly quick on transmutation stones (that can handle armor at level 80)). thoughts? Varuuth (talk) 19:37, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
- You'd get more feedback asking this question on the official forums (look above). The marketing model and how skins work for ArenaNet seems to be acceptable and there aren't cries from the community about single-use skins since they don't impact the game. It's irritating for players because of the inconvenience of time/money at the worst to get the skin on just the right armor.--Relyk ~ talk < 20:12, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
