Any clue what it actually does? Witchcraft 14:00, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

If it didn't mention lodestones, I would assume it was used to promote rare mats up a tier (sliver -> fragment etc.). But since it mentions lodestones, the highest tier... I don't know. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 15:09, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
maybe to infuse the new ascended amuletts
Maybe it's a cheaper alternative to Bottle of Elonian Wine? --177.40.70.56 02:40, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
Conversion perhaps? One type of lodestone/shard/etc. into another type?
Used in conjunction with slivers, fragments, shards, cores, and LOADSTONES in the Mystic Forge. So it really doesn't make sence as Wine replacer. I would also guess, it would transform Onyxloadstones into another loadstone (depending on the other 2 ingredients. I would guess it will look like this: Mystic Binding Agent+any loadstone+?+?= another loadstone.
Is it now proven, that its a Wine replacer? --92.72.145.166 18:57, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
No this is not the way it works. I will change the article according to the video i found on a reddit page where you can clearly see it can be used instead of the wine BUT it changes the ration to 4:2 instead of 2:1 ratio (he put in enough Agent Dust Crystals and Shards to do more then only 2 at a time). So all that actually does is save you dust and/or time [Video]. Magistrella 16:20, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
Its actually a little bit more complicated then that. Basically they have the following formula that you can use,
8 slivers + 1 dust + 1 Crystal + 1 MBA = 4 fragments
6 fragments + 1 dust + 1 crystal + 1 MBA = 3 shards
4 shards + 1 dust + 1 crystal +1 MBA = 2 cores
2 cores + 1 dust + 1 crystal + 1 MBA = 1 lodestone
I have more details on my blog @ eggbaron.blogspot.ca, but I am not really a wiki guy. I will try to make the edits to the page. 24.52.246.245 01:15, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
Edits made, someone with wiki experience can let me know if they like the changes.
Perfect, thank you for this intel and the great edit Magistrella 01:32, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
thanks, added a couple more things for clarity, and mixed a minor error in the formulas (i had the wrong dusts C&P mistake) 24.52.246.245 03:20, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
