No race listed[edit]
So I've noticed this poor fella doesn't have a race yet. Any reason to believe that it isn't a construct? Or should we ask (and wait for) the devs to respond officially? Sythe 03:56, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
- It's probably best to ask and see. According to lore, this boss might not even be an entity, but rather just a programmed defense/game mechanism (think chess playing computers). So if anything, maybe a construct... but even then, I don't believe that applies. -Darqam 05:21, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
- Honestly I was thinking Jade Construct, even if not the same purple material, due to the Jade Soldiers/Scouts that it's with and its origins from mursaat. But on the other hand, it could be mechanically baseless or something brand new. Ultimately, we're unsure atm and that's why it's left blank. Testing is needed, but there's no (easy?) way to test if something is a construct or Jade Construct as they're some of the very few races with no slaying potions or sigils. - Well even potions would not be a guaranteed determination. IIRC they changed VG to be a "plant" since as an elemental there were potions to be stronger against it. So what it is in 'lore' versus in-game engine, might not even match. I think if we can't find better answers with in-game text, asking devs is the best answer. -Darqam 17:20, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
