Creating a base page so that it's not a redirect to the legendary weapon[edit]
Isn't there greater interest in the legendary weapon? So shouldn't this be a redirect to The Moot? For those interested in the lore, that article could have a note at the top that says "this article is about the legendary. For info about the norn celebration, see [[moot (lore)]]" or whatever. 75.37.19.136 17:49, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
- Brought up on my talk page. My response there remains unchanged: "{{otheruses}} exist for a reason. Besides, what else would the article be titled? Perhaps Moot (lore), but why have such a title when the base title (Moot) is unused?" I see no reason for this to be a redirect and create Moot (lore) or what-have-you when we have the existence of the otheruses template. Konig 17:53, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) I agree, the legendary is by far the more prominent page. There is precedent for this sort of arrangement on Wikipedia, where they use a page-top notice to explain that "X redirects here. For other uses, see Y." —Dr Ishmael 17:54, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
