Brown, not black

I used this dye on Heritage Medium Armor and it looks dark brown, not black or gray. Did anybody else experience the same? Maybe this dye should be classified as brown and not gray? Ruby D (talk) 11:00, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Set, Material and Hue are the three sorting options the dye menu offers in game, so it's labeled as "gray" by the game itself, not the community here. However, as you experienced, armor reacts very different to dye, dependent on the armor material and often even dependent on the coloring zone used. --aRTy 11:23, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

On most of the armors I tried, it turns out to be closer to brown. It might only look black on some light armor sets.--78.119.240.176 07:06, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
