Talk:Memory of Aurene

Just completed season 3 episode 2 and got no memory of Aurene. It was a character that hadn't completed that story yet, so it appears the character you do story instances with need to have completed it once before already. Anyone else had this happen to confirm?

Are all acquisition methods limited to once per account per day?

Probably once per day for replaying the story part. We would need to look over all the story steps to see wich ones drop it and wich doesnt. This information is based from game update report and were not tested I belive. --DiegoDeLaHouska (talk) 16:09, 11 June 2022 (UTC)

Just tested the instance Dragon Vigil. Gave it the first time repeating on character 1, didn't give it a second time on character 1, didn't give it a first time on character 2. I think it's safe to assume that they're all once per account per day.~Miss Lana (talk) 10:22, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

Acquisition

There is an idea that these Memory of Aurene are rewarded from every story instance where we had Aurene. If we take a look at her Story involvement we can see she were in a lot more story missions. Meaning those items could drop from those as well. We already seen that some of the story missions like To Kill a God doesnt reward it at all. But we also seen stories like Seized that were not mentioned in the update and yet those reward memories. At this moment Im going over those we have already writen down. Memory of Aurene only for Accounts with EOD?

I just finished a Dragonstorm instance on an alt account wihtout EOD and did not receive Memories of Aurene. Can anyone confirm that they can only be accquired on accounts with EOD unlocked? --Lupus93 (talk) 11:22, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

I just did Dragon Vigil (had already finished this chapter previously) on the same alt account without EOD and received some Memories. When I did Dragon Storm earlier I had not finished the IBS story. Maybe the Dragon Storm Memories are also only awarded when the story steps for it are finished. --Lupus93 (talk) 15:58, 22 August 2022 (UTC)

I tried completing "The End" from the 3rd & final checkpoint, and it didn't award any MoAs

Only the instance owner gets the Memories of Aurene

I just finished Hero of Istan as a second player. The story instance owner got 3 memories of Aurene, I got no loot. When I repeated the instance as the story owner I then got three. Might be a bug similar to the tales of adventure.

Made a ticket and was informed this mecanic is working as intended.

Best story chapters to repeat

The following I found the easiest/fastest to do to get the material. In total it is 24 memories in around hour and half total. Roughly same timeframe as e.g. dragon's end which is (without prep) like 50 min for 15min, so roughly same speed.

Living World Season 3

Episode 2: Rising Flames

Dragon Vigil (3)

Living World Season 4

Episode 1: Daybreak

The Hero of Istan (3, funniest if you ask me, but I also go on mesmer)

Episode 2: A Bug in the System

A Kindness Repaid (3)

Episode 4: A Star to Guide Us

Legacy (3)

Episode 5: All or Nothing

Scion & Champion (3)

The Crystal Blooms (3, also fastest)

The Crystal Dragon (3, once second eye is dead and you get the memories exit back to char screen quickly before you are stuck in unskippable ~1min video)

Episode 6: War Eternal

The End (3) (pick dragonflight instead!)

These are around 10 min each to do, some even faster. If possible always pick last checkpoint. Only annoying one is 'A Kindness Repaid' since it contains a lot of fighting compared to the others (also its around 12 minutes compared to others. Hope it helps some people if they need or want extra.
