No, the skin is unlocked by simply having the consumable item in your inventory and will cost a transmutation charge to apply like any skin.--Relyk ~ talk < 10:04, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

The only "free" skins - those that don't cost transmutation charges - are the ones you get from achievement rewards and from the Hall of Monuments. —Dr Ishmael 12:31, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
