Does anyone know if these chests drop from the end of the tower on a daily timer, or if it's truly once per account this event? The latter would be sad.
Does the type of armor you get depend on the character that opens the chest? Or will soldiers be stuck with cloth rags?

Extra chest[edit]
Is it possible that last year, there was some way to get two chests? Because I was just looking through my bank and I found another chest (in addition to the one I just got from completing the clock tower this year). So I first thought it was just the one from last year, but when I tried to use one, it said that I already had unlocked all three skins. poke | talk 01:25, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
- The skins for these items are not unique. They are Wvw/Karma armor skins, you probably already had them unlocked from somewhere else.
Versions[edit]
The 2015 event has spawned another unique version of the chest. For consistency, the 2013-2014 chest should be spun off like the original version or otherwise recombined. 76.253.2.43 14:55, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
Inconsistent split[edit]
While the 2012 chest has its own article, the drop lists of the older chests from 2013-2015 were lumped together in a subpage. Firstly, this seems like a novel move that hasn't been used anywhere else on the wiki. Secondly the old chests are not sub-topics of the current chest, they are separate item IDs with different selection tables. All of the old chests should be merged to a single page, i.e. the 2012 article, or have their own pages. There is no reason for mainspace content to be hidden away in a subpage, which just seems like it was a lazy way to segregate that information from the current item. 76.126.247.17 11:54, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
