Clock Tower areas[edit]
The clock tower has 3 areas with separate names, I think: The "lobby" where you wait, the puzzle itself, and the chest room. The last I think was called Mad King's Clock Tower Belfry, but I'm not going back to check. Manifold 22:57, 26 October 2012 (PDT)
- "Mad King's Tower Belfry", the only hint they're areas is the fact you can discover them.--Relyk 23:17, 26 October 2012 (PDT)
- And the name in the minimap. The lobby is "Mad King's Clock Tower Dock." —Dr Ishmael 06:46, 27 October 2012 (PDT)
Rediculous area[edit]
I was (I think) in this area. I went through a door in Gendarran Fields. What a stupid area. All you do is fight fight fight, in a maze with no way out. What happened to Halloween being FUN? This game has a lot of bonehead pieces to it, but this one is the worst.
My advice: DO NOT GO HERE! Daddicus 03:18, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- There's more to the Mad King's Realm than the Mad King's Labyrinth. And there's more to Halloween than the Mad King's Realm. Some people *do* like what the Labyrinth provides (you know, besides the exotics from the chests that spawn from the two group events). Konig/talk 03:19, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- Not to mention that you can leave any area in the game at any time outside of combat by using the Heart of the Mists button. -- MS 03:22, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't know that. I wish I had before I wasted my money and armor. But, then I wrote this to protect people like me who don't like infinite enemies that are way too powerful bunched up (like they are at every intersection). They should have a warning that if you aren't with a group of 10 or more, you're hopelessly outgunned and will die.

- I'm afraid I was proved right: Winds of Change showed that they did not understand game balance, but the hope was that that was just a "small team" mistake. There was hope that perhaps the main group understood the concept of fun. Clearly the main development team is just as bad. :(
- It's kind of sad. This game has a great deal of potential, but it has some glaring problems, too. This is just one of them. Daddicus 03:36, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- I don't really know what you're talking about. You can navigate around just fine by yourself. The mummies are the only enemies that are hard to get past, since they pull and cripple. There are many places where you can fight small groups or 1 on 1. There are also roving bands of other players everywhere. There's a waypoint you activate when you arrive. You can also jump off the edges for free transport. It's a great place to farm, there's lots of enemies and events and nodes. Manifold 03:42, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- I was in there maybe 20 minutes, and only in two small spots could I fight creatures one at a time. And, I couldn't move, either, or others would get aggroed. The very first steps I took were towards a skeleton and a raw candy corn node. After I started fighting, 8 elementals showed up almost all at the same time. Fortunately, I was able to run backwards and there were a bunch of new arrivals who saved my butt. But, once I got separated from them, it was all over. Surrounded by groups just out of aggro range. No where to go, no way out.
- Regarding rewards, I saw nothing special. Just typical high-level loot. No chests like others mentioned. Daddicus 03:57, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- Chests spawn at the center and each of the four corners if you're lucky and a Champion appears. All of the Champions are quite easy fights if there are enough people, and they'll show up pretty quick if you yell in map chat; a lot of people tend to be in the Labyrinth so it's generally Overflow map. These chests have the same loot table as any level 80 chest in the world, with the added chance at getting the rare Halloween exotics, which are plummeting in price but still vaguely valuable.
- Anyway, this place is exactly like going to Orr. You find people running around and stick with them in a zerg because that's all there is to do. Some builds can farm Halloween creatures easily on their own, but there's really no point doing that anyway; the only resource nodes are Candy Corn which is all but useless now, so better to stick with a group for safety. Personally I find the Labyrinth to be pretty boring, but you can definitely make some good loot if you're willing to grind. Vili 点 04:36, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) Chests spawn only after the two group events - one in the center, one in the SE corner - where a champion spawns. You should be able to fight small groups off, if not then you're either moving a bit _too_ much or you're not using an offensive enough build (or not enough unlocked skill slots - if you're level 20, you should be fine, and the higher level the easier it'll be). The best it's for is pieces of candy corn though. And I never find a lack of a zerg farming those events. If you really have troubles, then you probably ran into an event where numerous normal enemies appear - those are, despite not being said to be a group event, near impossible to solo (it is possible, but freaking long to do - and seldom done solo due to said roaming groups of players that are almost always present - only reason I can think of such _not_ being present would be you entered a brand new overflow).
- I'd argue that you either just had bad luck, were on at a quiet time for your server, or had a build that wasn't helpful there. Though, again, the Labyrinth is merely an entrance for everything else - talk to the Lunatic Boatmaster for the other places in the realm (2 PvP and the jumping puzzle). - Edit: There's more than 2 chests? News to me. o.o Konig/talk 04:46, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I'm not sure. I've only seen the center one myself, but the way people have been talking in-game/on forums it sounded like a champion had a chance to come through any of the doors, not just the ones in center/SE. Vili 点 04:51, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
