The item is bugged[edit]
While buying the item for 0 copper immediately unlocks the "new" spear skin in the wardrobe, it can not be used to apply the skin to an existing spear without the help of a transmutation charge. The item is consumed in the process, but the existing spear's skin is not changed on "apply".
The "new" (it's a staff, too) Dragon Decade Spear Skin consumable has the same bug. Necropola (talk) 11:02, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
Addition: It looks like the skin is applied to your Underwater Spear instead.
