Suggestion: use our Level 80 video

Hi,

We released a while ago a "Learn to Use the Level 80 Boost" video and I was thinking that it'd be a good fit for this article. I know that the wiki tends to stay away from video content, but in this case it seems to be a good idea (and if anyone feels like doing it, maybe adding the various Guild Wars 2 videos from our YouTube channel is possible).

No problem. There's also {{Youtube}} which I'm looking at. It doesn't seem to be as popular, but I can't locate a particular reason why (beyond people just not knowing about it). G R E E N E R 17:44, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

We had the whole debacle about the wiki not being able to administrate and police which links were added for videos so we moved to using {{YouTube search}} to avoid the issue entirely. However, for videos by ArenaNet I think we make an exception. -Chieftain Alex 17:59, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

I just purchased HoT. I made a new character and received this item. However, I made the character just so that I could take a look at charr armor. Everything sounds fine? Well, the game doesn't let me put the level-80 boost into my bank. If I now delete the char I made, is the boost lost forever :(? Help/advices welcome! 91.150.27.116 14:36, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Has the spelling changed in-game? The wiki simply reflects the naming choices of anet. If you have quarrel with it, I recommend the official forums. -Darqam 14:40, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2018/03/19

It should say somewhere how to leave the silverwastes - i.e. that you have to actually teleport out, because there is no indication anywhere telling you how to stop the trial. At least I didn't see any. Did I miss it?--Cyberman 14:09, 19 March 2018 (UTC)

Could you clarify what the step is to leave? We can easily put the note on the page, but I don't know what you mean by "actually teleport out." G R E E N E R 15:52, 19 March 2018 (UTC)

I'm assuming by "teleport" they mean leave the map via using a waypoint elsewhere, but you can just use the portal too. - Do_odleplex 15:57, 19 March 2018 (UTC)

Underwater masks

[&BBoDAAA=] / id 78451. Name = "Metal Aquabreather". In spite of the name but is actually a Light class item, my mesmer's one seems to have come with a Superior Rune of the Mesmer too. -Chieftain Alex 01:51, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Masks no longer unlocks

The Mask for each item tier no longer unlocks after undoing the Level 80 boost. Everything else works fine. Tested as of this post. --- Yuki (talk | Contribs) 02:08, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

Free Shared Inventory Slot

The expansion purchases may give a free shared inventory slot but it is not related to the level 80 boost, or black lion level 80 boost, they go into a shared inventory slot but do not grant you a free shared inventory slot, this wording should be changed as it is confusing. The wiki page clearly states that the item gives a free shared inventory slot and that the item can be aquired from a black lion level 80 boost, which would mean you get a shared inventory slot by purchasing the boost which you absolutely do not. Free Mount for HoT players but not for Paid full Base game players

I have noticed a few things for August 2022:

• Players who have Heart of Thorns but no other expansion now get a free unlock of a raptor but cannot use skins or dye them (from what I have seen so far).
• Players who have had the BASE game when you used to be able to buy it in stores or perhaps played other games and then came back but did not purchase any expansions, get NO raptor. Not even a trial one like the free players get for 10 days.
• Free players get a Trial Raptor for 10 days (or is it hours??) but only on ONE of their 2 character limit.

I would like to have more information on this but so far have not been able to find it on Wiki. --KatieBoom (talk) 22:06, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
