Talk:Kasha Blackblood
The link doesn't direct to Kasha Blackblood because it doesn't redirect from Kasha on the GW1 wiki. Should we change that on this wiki ot on the other one? Lokheit 15:02, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
Encounter[edit]
the way we defeated her in a 3-man team (bow/dual pistol Thief, bow/2H-sword Ranger & dual pistol Engineer), was to ignore the adds and grind the Boss together with the NPCs. We first tried to bomb the minions, but she summoned new ones constantly and gained full health evrytime she hit 50%. It could be due to another bug, we noticed after 1 hour, since our Ranger didnt get hit by the Boss or the Minions or even the fire. Nevertheless when we resettet the Boss (we all travelled away and re-entered the Intance), we tried to Single DPS the Boss out and kite the Minions, she healed herself one time at 50% and then she went down without any buggy behaviour. So either we found the Tactic, or we found a bug. Was great fun, tho.
Did anyone manage to kill the Boss, too so far? Some Feedback would be nice, it took us 1 hour for that boss, and 4 hours for the whole Dungeon, drops were crappy, the chest of the final Boss rewarded a lvl35 Helmet, so since we cant reach lvl35 anymore on that weekend, the drop was kinda useless. :P
- My group went with killing the summons as soon as they spawned, because she would always heal if we ignored them for more than a second. Also, any sort of AoE snare was really helpful. Thrain | contribs 11:07, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

My guild killed the boss (EbonHawke). I originally saw this thread, but we found that we couldn't kite the minions. It just didn't work, plus when one of the kiters died, the idiot things would aggro on multiple people at a time. We just decided to send two people in at a time (with a 5 person party) to tank and DPS at the same time. When they died, the next two would go in, and that would give the first two time to get back, and then the last person (With the highest defence) would go in and kite, while just using their "1" skill to keep the boss agg'ed. It worked perfectly, and aside from us all being stripped down to undies, we beat her.

I'm probably the only one, but...[edit]
It irks me that they didn't even try to make her ghost resemble her original character model in the slightest. Actually this bothers me about all of the Champions. I realise that to expect unique skins for each one would be unreasonable, but they could have at least keep the hair colours the same! --Gwenar Leours 01:56, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- ...They're ghosts. They don't have hair colors. Konig/talk 04:00, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- They probably would not wear the same armor for over 10 years, either... Mediggo 06:20, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, it's probably the opposite - they're ghosts, remember? They probably don't even think about things like washing their underpants anymore. —Dr Ishmael 12:25, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- Foefire occured ten years after Adelbern recalled Ebonhawke, and 18 years after the Searing. Mediggo 12:59, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- 20 years after the Searing, actually. Searing happened in 1070 AE, Foefire in 1090. Last we saw of them, it was 1072 AE - excluding the two individuals in that one Gwen quest (I think it was only two NPCs there - Grast and someone else). So yeah, they wouldn't look the same after 18 years, either in armor or facial looks. Konig/talk 16:00, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

- Oh, I wasn't thinking in terms of GW1 time. Never mind. —Dr Ishmael 16:07, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- Konig, I would honestly have preferred that the ghosts be more uniformly transparent, rather than having any colouration, but they aren't. And I don't expect them to wear the same armour for even two years, but Kasha was a blonde before The Searing and after. Would it have killed ANet to lay off the shaders? For the record, I don't consider this to be a huge issue, it's just one of those little nitpicky things that my OCD brain sees as an irksome inconsistency, like them not being able to spell their own NPC's surname properly in EotN, in a game that otherwise has near-flawless continuity. In any case, I always like to see what person's opinions are about things like this. ^_^ --Gwenar Leours 16:52, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
