So much time and nobody has wondered how epic this one would look in game? Multiple rainbow lights with water refraction to create even more rainbows? I wonder how big it's going to be... Actually, I'm wondering if this was a bug - the Rainbow Jellyfish is supposed to be a HoM-exclusive reward. During BWE1, the available jellyfish were Blue, Green, and Red; for BWE2, they were Blue, Rainbow, and Red. In both BWEs, the Blue/Green and Blue/Rainbow ones were functionally identical (same stats, same skills). I'm thinking some little flag got flipped the wrong way somewhere in the BWE2 build and we saw the Rainbow name and model with the Green stats and skills. —Dr Ishmael 20:21, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Oh, I thought it was the Red Jellyfish that had disappeared? I had the green one out along with the Rainbow one, with the Blue as another option. But, yeah, to the point, all the HoM pets were available, I assume it's just to test them out for now... The rainbow jelly works well against the dummy golems anyway. :P

Oh, duh! I hadn't even thought about the other HoM pets yet. That's why some of the others had duplicate skills, like Black Moa/Flamingo, Raven/White Raven, etc. Guh, I feel dumb. Okay, then, let me update: it was probably a bug in the first BWE that showed us a Green jellyfish instead of the Rainbow one.

As for green/red, according to my BWE2 screenshots, I definitely had a red jellyfish with Immobilizing Whirl, and no green jellyfish at all. —Dr Ishmael 21:05, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Yeah I just noticed that when I tamed my blue one. I hope it's a bug and will be fixed soon, I'm fine with it just being a skin, but being identical to one of the easiest aquatic pets to find is a bit of a let-down. 109.145.209.19 11:06, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Appearance updated

Somewhat surprised no one has mentioned this yet. On 14th May they finally changed the skin on the rainbow jellyfish to make it different to the blue one. I've uploaded a new screen shot, edited the note saying the two are identical and added a line of trivia to note that until the update they shared a skin. The notes on the update say that there is a bug and the blue jellyfish is rainbow and the rainbow one is blue but I don't see it myself. All 3 charmable jellyfish are actually multi-coloured, but it's definitely the rainbow one which has been given a new appearance. Danikat (talk) 16:37, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
