Improvement and Tactic Pack prices[edit]

Is there any way to potentially include this kind of link on these pages? Or even better, just the actual cost? So that you can see at a glance what the "average value" returned would be. - frvwfr2 15:07, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

{{Base ingredients total|Schematic: Speedy Dolyaks}} gives the value, which can be used in a table:

{{#Widget:TP prices total}}

Or {{Base ingredients table}} gives the full ingredients table. --Tolkyria (talk) 16:22, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
Edit: No idea why, but for me it doesn't work. It seems {{Base ingredients total}} only works if placing {{base ingredients lookup}} and {{base ingredients table}} of a random item in the same page. --Tolkyria (talk) 16:43, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
Solved it, {{#Widget:TP prices total}} was needed. Still to do: sorting doesn't work. --Tolkyria (talk) 19:04, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

Drop Rates theory[edit]

After looking at the drop rate research, it caught my attention that Tier III were close to 2%, Tier II 4% and Tier I 7%. I know that some games are using weights for their drop rates and if you apply it in this situation it seems to fit completely.

  • 7x Tier III (3 tactics + 4 improvements) weighting 1 = 7x1 = 7
  • 5x Tier II (3 tactics + 2 improvements) weighting 2 = 5x2 = 10
  • 9x Tier I (4 tactics + 5 improvements) weighting 4 = 9x4 = 36

Total weight is 7 + 10 + 36 = 53

  • Any Tier I has 36/53 chance to drop (67.9%)
  • Any Tier II has 10/53 chance to drop (18.8%)
  • Any Tier III has 7/53 chance to drop (13.2%)

Or

  • Specific Tier I has 4/53 chance to drop (7.5%)
  • Specific Tier II has 2/53 chance to drop (3.7%)
  • Specific Tier III has 1/53 chance to drop (1.8%)

Now, I don't know how to present this data in a non-boring way on the wiki.
