Talk:Herb Patch
shouldn't there be a new category for resource nodes? --Universe 06:48, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Locations[edit]
I've also found black pepper in Metrica Province. Sjeng 07:33, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
Are there actually nodes called "Herb Patch"? Or is that an old term? Can anyone verify? Jauranna 19:25, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Yes there is. Take a look at the fields outside Beetletun (Queensdale) - {{subst:User:Manassas/sig}} 07:49, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
Copper can't be right[edit]
I'm looking at an Herb Patch here in Straits of Devastation. I received 1 Taragon Leaves (sic), which is a level 300 chef material. And, I've never seen an herb patch in a low-level area. Daddicus 16:53, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
- I just harvested three more with iron, steel, and darksteel sickles and got ruined fibers each time.
- Also, please note that a mithril sickle's use information does not mention "herb patch". However, it does mention Verdant Herbs (which are another type of node -- I saw a lot of them in Mount Maelstrom Daddicus 16:55, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know how they did it, but there are two "Herb Patch" nodes: One for copper implements and one for Mithril. I suspect this is a bug. Daddicus 22:27, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
- I've done some research into all kinds of Herb nodes and the yield seems to differ depending on area (region and/or level). But it does seem odd that the same herb type has to be harvested with different types of sickles. I suspect that Herb Patches are a leftover from early development and that they will eventually be removed. --Manassas 14:07, 18 October 2012 (UTC)

Two Infoboxes[edit]
Well, since two version exist, I think the best coarse of action for the understanding of our readers is a separation of infoboxes. That way, they can see what is gotten for what. (I know they can see it simply in the text, but consistency helps.) --Clevin (talk) 08:39, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Split the article. No page should have more than 1 infobox. (I know, we still have a plague of them with fine/masterwork karma equipment, but they're a relic of a past consensus.) —Dr Ishmael 12:23, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
