Trivia discussion

Hey y'all I have no idea how I got this to spawn, but when I went through the event a second time I was unable to reproduce this npc. The only other person in the event the first time confirmed they did not have a pet. Yet LITERALLY HEDWIG exists in this event somehow. https://imgur.com/a/kCUs8te

That is a ranger's pet. It has   Signet of Stone and   Signet of the Hunt in its effects bar. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 09:57, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

I'm not a hundred percent sure, but given it's signet effects, it is very likely to be a players pet. I sometimes see pets still fighting, when their player has already ported away or logged out. For how long did he stay? Do you maybe remember? Also the level of all other allies and enemies around is 42. The owl is lvl 44, the level a player (and his pet) gets downscaled to in this area. Though it may happen, that arenanet gives this owl a special level treatment, it is very unlikely to. Hedwig is also a veeeeery common petname for an owl.--Aylia (talk) 10:09, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

I doubt it, there are no friendly npcs in the area (except the dead one) and those buffs only apply to a ranger and its pet and nobody else. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 10:23, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
