Move

The reason I left it Hard Boiled and not The Dead End (which is a POI) is because The Dead End is also used for a different part of the story, according to the guide. It would be akin to taking Braham - Eirsson and merging it with Knut Whitebear's Loft because that's the actual location, when it would be bad because that place is also used for various personal story instances as well as Braham: Avenger of the Dispossessed. Memorials on the Pyre is used exclusively for that content, nothing else. That doesn't seem to be the case here. I'm basically separating the story instance content from the general location. I don't understand why the previous step is named after the instance -- no one except a wiki guru is going to notice the instance name, but everyone will know the name of the storyline step. As far as I can tell, someone proposed that move, but the article was moved without any discussion. Well, the hierarchy we've been working with, which is always subject to discussion and change because it's mostly a "best practices" type of thing, is that we use the name of the achievement unless the instance has it's own official unique name (which that one does). The article was originally created using the achievement at first because I didn't know the actual instance name (I was on break at work) and I wanted to get the article up and available, and it now redirects there because of the rename. Maybe my English is bad, but I read that as use the achievement name, which is the opposite of what was done here. You guys do whatever you want, I'll just repeat that it's confusing -- no one I know is talking about Memorials on the Pyre. Everyone knows the name of the achievement.

I'm sure it makes sense to have an article with the technical name of the instance, but I don't see how that is helpful to players who don't edit the wiki. 75.36.180.30 05:17, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

That conversation was specifically talking about the final instance of Southsun, which had no name on its own, so Relyk made that statement. However, you do have a good point on it being confusing, especially considering the lack of documented guidelines for this. Vahkris (talk) 13:22, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
