Appearance

The appearance is very similar to Early's gun, the bounty hunter who boards Serenity in "Objects in Space". Considering that the devs have shown a liking for Firefly through their numerous other references, it wouldn't surprise me if this was another intentional reference. Stat Selectable

I just got a stat-selectable version of this from a Mirage's Cache I got for map-completing Crystal Oasis. Did this item get changed in a patch? 198.44.140.177 08:35, 17 September 2024 (UTC)

It's not a patch change, there's several outdated stat-selectable versions of exotic weapons that can only be obtained through the caches, such as Crystalline Blade (account bound). Could you check the ID for the selectable Handheld Disaster by typing /wiki in chat and then shift-clicking the item, then pressing enter, if you don't mind/didn't salvage or delete it?
