Not working

Yeah, discussion pages are clearly not intended to be used to point out issues.

On a less sarcastic note, it's crucial to the wiki's mission of documenting the game that we have information about things that are broken/bugged/etc. so comments like these are invaluable. Vili 点 04:35, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

That's fine, just personally considered wikis as places to present facts/information/guides rather than comment about bugs in the game as there are (what I consider) more appropriate places to report bugs. But as I said it's fine, not what I would do but I will go along with it as you say it is a part of the wikis mission to document bugs too. Bluestone 11:27, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

Discussion of bugs in order to document them properly is perfectly acceptable. Obviously, the bug should also be reported in-game or on the official forums to make Anet aware of it.

On-topic, are you using the promoter while in an overflow? I've heard that if you use the Tome of Influence in an overflow, it doesn't work, so maybe it's the same for this NPC. —Dr Ishmael 12:27, 17 September 2012 (UTC)

I honestly don't remember if I was in overflow and it worked after that before any updates, so I would guess so. I will test this next time I get put in an overflow. C The 23:15, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

I just tested this while in Lion's Arch overflow. Bought the 2  one. Worked fine and added 10 influence to my guild on Sorrow's Furnace. --Razgriz3 01:14, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

Bought on overflow, IP didn't show up. Restarted the game, still got put on overflow, but the correct amount of IP showed up. 193.6.17.65 09:25, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
