Talk:Guild Portal (upgrade)
No need to split. Adding additional info like the usage, dialogue, etc... Of the upgrade is the entire reason why each upgrade has it's own individual page. Anzenketh (talk) 22:47, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- No, the problem is that a page should only ever have one infobox. If there are two infoboxes, then you're documenting two different kinds of things, and you need two pages. In this case, it's a guild upgrade and an object. They should be on separate pages.
- If you want to keep the upgrade here and split the object to
Guild Portal (object)
, that's fine too. —Dr Ishmael 22:48, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Relyk would agree with me. —Dr Ishmael 00:48, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
- I'm in favor of splitting it. Every other upgrade has its own page. talk 20:36, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
- Done. —Dr Ishmael 20:56, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
- Why is this page being deleted? Every other guild upgrade has its own page with the list of requirements for that upgrade. --Krumnoltzwitsky (talk) 08:33, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Feedback 2015/11/14[edit]
Guild portal can be used in two ways: to travel alone to specified destination (by picking "Travel Now") or to open the portal that can be used by others (by picking "Open Portal"). Second option is only accessible to guild members with "Open Guild Portal" permission (granted through rank system). When the second option is picked, the blue pillar of energy appears that - upon entering - moves players to previously specified destination.
Players who don't own HoT can't use the portal to travel alone (but there is a possibility that they still might be able to use the portal that was opened for them by someone else - this requires more testing).
It's possible to travel to one of the guild mission destinations without launching a guild mission. --Hyareil (talk) 21:50, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
Destinations[edit]
The list of destinations seems kinda out of place here, shouldn't this list be merged with the list on the object page? MatHack (talk) 22:58, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
