"You can still finish..."[edit]
Note needs to be clarified in some way. Even reading it several times it sounds as though you can even still start it. But it seems you had to have fed him at least once, simply having the letter isn't enough. - Twinkletoes (talk) 04:51, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Repeatable?[edit]
I completed this last year and thought the ornaments might be good to have again in 2015/2016. I don't expect a second Gift Tree node or Star of Gratitude. I have Orphan Laine's letter in my inventory but none of the characters appear in the spot that it leads to. Chef Seimur offers me only Bloodstone Bearclaws. - No if you have already completed it, then it is not repeatable, Even if you get a drop from an open world chest, it will be a wrecked ornament not one of the items. Anigel (talk) 23:13, 31 December 2015 (UTC)

Feedback 2016/01/15[edit]

- I have Orphan Laine's Letter, have never attempted to start the event and cannot start it now that the event is over. If not other info comes out soon, I will remove the note saying the event can still be completed. relt (talk) 21:46, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
- The quest and achievement can be completed after Wintersday (I know because I did it this year, after Wintersday). You haven't started it, therefore you have nothing to complete. You cannot start the quest outside of Wintersday. G R E E N E R 22:09, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

Can we get the collection items from any chest that gives a Mysterious Grubby Package?
