What daily chests?

In the intro paragraph, it says "Gold Fractal weapons are a golden version of Fractal weapons that can be acquired from daily fractal chest rewards from higher level fractals", but under Acquisition, no daily chest is listed. (Gold Fractal Weapon Crate (choice) isn't a daily chest right?) --175.141.46.116 14:48, 18 December 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing that out. The pages for the T3 and T4 daily chests say they have a chance to drop gold fractal weapons so I added them to the acquisition section here. -Azurem (talk) 15:09, 18 December 2016 (UTC)

Probability Info

I was wondering, aiming to use the least possible amount of Golden Fractal Relics, when is it better to stop using the 4 Relics recipe and start using the 10 Relics one? I guess somewhere around 10-13/19 weapons but it's just a guess, any big-math-brain (probability theory) around here who can make a more solid statement? 82.57.139.238 22:19, 26 April 2019 (UTC)

Unfortunately, the calculations need to include the other items as well. The other items for the random version are pretty cheap (2g). But, the other is more than 10 times that. Viewed STRICTLY in terms of relics, the cutover point is when the odds of getting one you need by chance goes lower than 40%. That's between 11 and 12 already attained.

Viewed with the other items involved, it's a lot more complicated. I didn't bother figuring it out. I chose 3 (or, I have 16).

By the way, the odds of getting regular fractal skins are significantly lower than gold ones. So, the most important item might be the regular fractal skin that you have to use in order to do the 10 gold relic thing. Daddicus (talk) 03:56, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
