I had an identical quest, but it was named "Going Undercover"... Aqua (T|C) 03:10, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

Different character background, most likely. Felix Omni Signature.png 03:11, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
But the *only* difference is this quest name... As in, the prereq and following quests are the same; but this one is different.
Also, from what I can tell from brief research, there are "blobs" of quests and you are working through only one blob at a time. (i.e. the "biggest regret" quest arc begins after the "family status" quest arc but doesn't relate or refer back to it at all.) Aqua (T|C) 03:56, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
Same here - I had "Going Undercover" street rat storyline, no splits in it. Also, there are some references to the social status in the regret quests (the first circus story step has your friends from the social status you chose - Faren, Petra, and a spoiler from street rat). Edit: Also, they removed the descriptions on loading screens. Edit2: Forgot - the next story step is a split (chose between saving Quin or stopping the bandits from poisoning Divinity's Reach). Bugged Quest?[edit]

In the beta, as a thief with this as 'Going Undercover', I had reported a bug that worked like this (preventing this personal story from completing):

  • Infiltrate the bandit hideout.
  • Speak with Crusher Dan.
  • Kill the drakes infesting the cave pools.
  • Speak with Crusher Dan.
  • Place the bait on the stone outside the cavern.
  • Defeat Ol' Skabfin, the skale.
  • Speak with Crusher Dan.
  • and so forth...

The problem is, the dialogue prompt to talk to Crusher Dan didn't go away. After you've done everything. Doing the two other NPCs (thus getting them checked off) still didn't trigger a completion of this. --Zherbus 13:50, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

Bandit allies[edit]

Does all the bandits in the cave count as allies? They are all friendly, but mostly not directly involved in the quest. Or do the named ones, which are part of the dialogs, count as allies? Or nobody, because they don't come along and don't help fighting at all? So, when does a friendly NPC count as ally to be mentioned on the page? Balwin 11:01, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
