Icon[edit]
Trying to find that tiny yellow gift icon I presume? I'll keep looking, but I'm having issues finding it as well. -Darqam (talk) 21:05, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, I appreciate it. And yes, it's as elusive as the bundle icons... and probably not even stored in the .dat. I wish things could be easy for once. :/ 91.67.46.140 21:29, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
- Random thought: Could that icon then be added to the {{gem store table row}}, and get picked up the {{vendor list}} template to show beside the price? G R E E N E R 21:38, 2 November 2016 (UTC)
- I don't know, but it'd be certainly nice... that is, provided there is no negative impact on the template and the store pages. They already load fairly slow and/or fail to load sometimes and it gets worse with every new addition.
- Adding a new parameter
| giftable = y/n
to the item infobox instead could be a work-around. talk 10:04, 3 November 2016 (UTC)

Might be helpful to include what happens if you give / a player receives an item they already have or cannot unlock more of. AFAIK there is no automation behind this - there is no check to determine if the player can use the item when you buy it, and it's entirely up to the recipient to initiate a ticket with Support to try to get the person their gems back if they receive a duplicate. Otherwise they're just lost. No notice (in or out of game) is provided to the giver when/if the refund is processed - the gems just show back up in your wallet.
