- Nope, only ever tiny ones. Only use for these things seems to be saving trips to merchants, for characters without infinite-use tools. Ch8ese (talk) 13:55, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Current behavior[edit]
The current behavior for this, since the Wintersday 2017 change to snowflakes and the addition of glyphs, is that it has a 100% chance to produce snowflakes. There also seems to be a bug that prevents it from producing snowflakes when harvesting guild hall synthesizers, that happens most of the time when in guild halls, but not every time. (From my experience, sometimes all 15 daily synthesizer results give snowflakes, other times none of them do. The axe and pick don't have this problem.) - Kirbman talk 21:24, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
