These containers still give level appropriate gear when opened on low level characters, instead of unids. Article should probably be amended to something like "A random piece of equipment of your character's level or unid gear," to reflect that. ~plasticzaku 24.251.44.155 08:43, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Besides the Unid Gears, the equipment from the Fluctuating mass seems to be bound to the effective level, not character level (Depending on how you define character level), as lvl 80 character in a level 50 - 60 map I got level 55 equipment directly from it -- Axolotl 18:38, 09 March 2022 (UTC)
