Retcon[edit]
Glint: "Their souls will be reaped upon one of the five Bloodstones, just as the Chosen you witnessed being slaughtered in the Maguuma Jungle." Glint: "If this happens, no magic on this world or any other will bring them back."
They mention being sacrified on the blood stones. How is this not a retcon --174.57.188.237 14:16, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
- Two things. First, Glint didn't tell the full story. The reason why resurrection wouldn't work is because the souls were trapped in the soul batteries. This is why when we destroy the ether seals attatched to such soul batteries at the end of Abaddon's Mouth that a bunch of souls are released (though many are turned mad from their imprisonment). Second, all that's said is "bloodstone magic" or the like unless you found something I have not yet. Going off of both of these and the state of the Exalted, it would seem that the "magic" they used the bloodstone for involved transferring the souls into the golden armor - as opposed to being channeled into soul batteries.
