Talk:Emperor Usoku
Untitled[edit]
Was thinking, how the hell did Cantha only seen him as emperor after Kisu, in 250 years? Does the Canthan has a longer life span? Maybe eating Red Bean Cakes and drinking Rice Wine all day long gives u a longer and healthier life :P --MageMontu 08:20, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- "We" (the people in Tyria) have only known him as an emporer, because the Dragon of Orr rose while he was an emporer, and after that we were cut of from Chanta. But he wasn't emporer for 250 years, he also had successors. --213.84.52.71 10:49, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

- Ah, "began to remove all non-humans from Cantha" -- that would be the connection. -- Pling \ talk 18:37, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

we may have a Qin Shi Huang like guy in charge there--70.251.151.87 00:17, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm wondering what "all non-humans" in "remove all non-humans" exactly means... I have 3 answers : 1) "humanoid but not human beings" like tengus, nagas, wardens or even yetis. 2) "all hostile non-human beings", which would also include kirins, wallows, irukanjis, levianthans, etc... 3) "all non-humans" basically means Usoku is also getting rid of animals ôO (and technically plants too, but I don't think he's *that* crazy) So... what do you think ? 1 or 2 ? Is 2 even possible ? What would you include in 1 ? 213.166.213.254 13:13, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- I'm a bit late, but it sounds like Usoku got rid of all non-human
sentientsapient (i.e. beingswith a conciousnessable to act using acquired knowledge) lifeforms. So there'd still be, for example, Kappa and Wallows, etc. --Sirrush 23:21, 12 July 2010 (UTC)- Well it would be idiotic to kick out the cats, dogs, chickens, and other sources of food and entertainment. Heck, I wouldn't doubt there to be a nice little slaveshow featuring an enraged steroid-filled chained tengu righting to the death with some random human gladiator. -- Konig/talk 23:39, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- Which is why only kicking out sapient lifeforms makes the most sense, imo. --Sirrush 14:42, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

A million Gold?[edit]
I have a lazy million gold sitting in my storage. Does that mean i get to buy an army and take on a continent? The Super Chilli 08:06, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Firstly, millions, not a million (which means it could even be 999 million). Secondly, while gold is very cheap for the players, in lore, it is not very common or cheap - especially seen here, where a person complains about 4 gold being far too much for a head of lettuce, and 3 gold being enough to clothe a whole family. I'd assume 100 gold could afford food for a whole village for a week. So a million could rather easily fund an army in lore, though not sure on the "take on a continent" part. :p -- Konig/talk 10:46, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- LOL! XD then some pplz are REALLY rich in GW1 :P (and armor is really expensive :P) The Holy Dragons 07:16, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
NOO!=[edit]
Ugh, i was going to be kurzick again in guild wars 2...that just ruined it lol:P, ima still put on my acc that ima kurzick supporter lol--♥Icyyy♥ 04:23, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- In a way you can be; humans can have canthan heritage. I'm sure there are some form of "kurzick descendant" options in the biography since Ree said that character creation options (one of which would be heritage) would affect the biography questions. I'm sure that if you go "Human->Canthan" you can get a biography option saying which part of Cantha your characters' ancestors came from - Kaineng, Echovald (kurzick), or Jade Sea (luxon). -- 04:48, 31 May 2010 (UTC) Konig/talk
